Beyond Youth Custody’s (BYC) new resources – ‘The role of family support in resettlement: a practitioner’s guide’ and ‘The role of family support in resettlement: a policy briefing’ – explore the important role that families can play in supporting young people who are released from custody.
On Tuesday 1st November Nacro learners and staff in Carlisle completed a 10k charity river walk to raise money for Cancer Research. Students were sponsored by family and friends and raised over £200 for the charity.
A full house gathered at the House of Lords last week to celebrate five years of Nacro’s research and policy programme, Beyond Youth Custody, and the Youth in Focus programme.

In London (Friday 22 September) the inaugural Tapping into New Talent conference, spearheaded by The Corbett Network, Nacro and Dominic Headley Associates (DHA), underlined the importance of employers including people with convictions within their workforce.
