We are working in partnership with Braintree District Council to provide housing in the local area. The funding was received from the Next Steps Accommodation Programme, a government scheme to provide help to rough sleepers.
We will own and manage the accommodation and the funding will help towards the cost of an additional staff member to provide support to prevent people from returning to sleeping rough.
Nacro runs multiple housing services across the country, offering different levels of support accommodation for different groups of people.
