What we do
We offer housing-related support to people with substance misuse problems, who are committed to addressing their dependency and need help to maintain their tenancy.
We work with a local housing association who provide accommodation throughout Gwynedd for the people we are working with. This lasts for the duration of the support they receive from us.
We also provide help to move on from the scheme, including post tenancy support to ensure the smooth transition from supported accommodation to independent living.
The scheme can also provide similar support to people in their own homes.
Our aim is to support the people we work with to address their substance misuse issues and develop strategies to make positive changes.
Eligibility
To be eligible a person must be:
- aged 18 and over
- engaged with substance misuse services
- committed to abstinence.
