Introduction
This statement outlines Nacro’s environmental objectives and targets, how we seek to achieve these, and Nacro’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact. We understand our activities have an environmental impact, and we recognise our responsibility to minimise those environmental impacts by supporting the UK’s Net Zero Carbon Emission 2030 goals, preventing pollution, tackling climate change, and continuing to maintain environmental legislative compliance. We will conduct business in a socially responsible and ethical manner, respecting the law, protecting the environment, and benefiting the communities where we work. This statement applies to all employee activities and responsibilities, Nacro’s daily operations and the environmental impact of Nacro’s activities.

Nacro is a national charity with more than 50 years’ experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. We are built on our core values, which distinguish us and guide our actions. Nacro leases the majority of its residential properties.
