This statement outlines Nacro’s environmental objectives and targets, how we seek to achieve these, and Nacro’s commitment to reduce its environmental impact. We understand our activities have an environmental impact, and we recognise our responsibility to minimise those environmental impacts by supporting the UK’s Net Zero Carbon Emission 2030 goals, preventing pollution, tackling climate change, and continuing to maintain environmental legislative compliance.
Nacro recognises that domestic abuse has a serious effect on people’s lives, both emotionally and physically.
We are committed to taking all reasonable steps possible to combat the impact of domestic abuse, for the individuals being abused, children and other family members affected by domestic abuse; as well as challenging the behaviour of perpetrators.
The purpose of this bursary fund is to support students in meeting the costs of continuing in full-time education. It can be awarded for things like transport, books, equipment, educational trips related to your course, and other course-related costs; it may also be used towards the costs of attending university interviews and open days.
This publication has been produced by Nacro’s Employer Advice Service and is primarily set within the context of the legal arrangements in England and Wales. It is a practical guide aimed at national governing bodies (NGBs) of sport to help them understand their legal rights and responsibilities and best practice when a criminal record of an existing member of a governing body comes to light.
The purpose of the Advanced Learner Loan Bursary is to support students over the age of 19 to continue in education and training by providing a contribution towards the costs of attending College such as transport, food, equipment, and other course related costs, also childcare for those over 20 years of age. We have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all vulnerable adults, children, and young people, to keep them safe and to deliver our services in a way that protects them.
Nacro is committed to responding and resolving issues of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) that is reported to it by both its own Occupants and the wider communities within which Nacro works. There are clear regulatory requirements for Registered Providers regarding recording and responding to ASB and this policy sets out Nacro’s response to ASB.
